So my 5 year old monitor died. It was a samsung 22'' which cost a lot back then. Now it came time to buying a new one. I decided to stick with samsung since i felt that it was built to last and has a lot of quality value in it.

And it only cost me $449 CND which is the same price range i bought my 22'' monitor back then.

Well looks like everyone is trying to get thier hands on it after I did my review. I have received countless PM regarding this monitor. So here we go!

For anyone who has the money and looking for a top of the line monitor. I totaly recomend this monitor. I keep getting a lot of Private msgs asking me how the quiality is and thier personal recomendations. Here is my selling point about the monitor. Its sleek, sexy and high end. 2ms, for any gamers, they can understand how hard it is to find a 2ms monitor. Its 27'', thats massive for its price! Not only do you get 2ms and 27 but you also get a massive 1920 x 1080 resolution with it. The colour on it its bloody amazing, to compare, I had an old 22'' Samsung 226BW and compared it side to side and its amazing colour ratio. Darks are dark and brights are bright with an amazing colour range. The 70,000:1 contrast ratio isnt that great but if your not a graphics designer, you cant tell the difference. There no colour banding, unless you have a bad compressed photo, I play around with a lot of RAW photos and the monitor does well. It has an eco friendly power consumption, anyone with a CRT monitor can understand how much power a monitor can suck up.

Now the main question everyone keeps asking me. Is it good for video gaming? Well there is a double edge sword for this one. Yes, defenitly great for gaming! I use my PS3 and my PC to play video games on it and it holds out very well. It has DVI and HDMI inputs (with TOSlink optical output for the HDMI at the back) BUT! For PC users, I do recomend that you have a powerful video card to OUTPUT 1920x1080 resolution to get the max native pixel resolution. Because with that much pixels resolution to push, your video card must be very good at outputing that much into the montior. But if you have a PS3, Xbox or any other console system that has HDMI, it looks amazing.

I would recomend a lot of space and distance between you and the montior. Because at 27'' its almost like a small TV just shy of a 32''. And of coures, watch all youtube videos or movies at either 720 or 1080 because thats how masive it is lol.

So in short, if you have the money (considering its cheap @ 450$ but built very well), and need something better than your 22 or 24 monitors. And want 2ms response rate for videogames with a high resolution of 1920x1080. And pushing multi-media and stylish at the same time.

I had to push my monitor back and pull my self even further away since i cannot see the entire monitor without moving my head.
