CONDUCT UNBECOMING

JANUARY 8th, 2010 3:29 PM : Former GiBWR's First Lt. ASwedishGunman was banned by Punkbuster for using ESP, HitBox/Aimbot and Cross Hair hacks. These transgressions took place on the =BLACKWATER= USA PRv0.87 Server. As a result, ASwedishGunman is now banned from every PunkBuster, PBBans, and PunksBusted streaming server. This information has been verified by GiBTHIS Internal Affairs and admitted to by the parties involved.

As of January 9th 2010, ASwedishGunman has been found guilty of Conduct Unbecoming an Officer and is hereby removed from the GiBWARS Clan and demoted to Registered User status in the GiBTHIS Gaming Community.

GiBTHIS does not condone the use of hacking, perpetrated on our servers or abroad, by our members at any time. The commission of these offenses is seen as a direct violation of the GiBTHIS Code of Conduct and guilty parties will be dealt with accordingly. It is vital to the longevity and sustainability of the GiBTHIS Community that every member strive to be above reproach in these matters. Failure to do so not only tarnishes the GiBTHIS name, but also brings into question the integrity of the community as a whole.

For those of us who need a refresher in the code of conduct expected when representing the GiBTHIS Gaming Community, we offer the following excerpts.

At GiBTHIS, our primary objective is to promote fun and fair game play... However, in order to become a full fledged member in the GiBTHIS Community, you must understand and commit yourself to sharing in the responsibility that comes inherent with this decision.

For those of us who have chosen to become a part of the GiBTHIS Community, we must each make the conscious decision to take a step above the role of "average gamer" and instead devote ourselves to the growth and betterment of the community as a whole.

We in GiB place extreme value in certain traits that we expect all of our members to demonstrate. These traits include respect, loyalty, maturity and the ability to maintain a level head in adverse situations.

It is important to note that ASwedishGunman, up until this point, has been an upstanding member of the GiBTHIS Community and will be sorely missed by the GiBWARS team. That being said, it is just as important to note that no one is immune to the rules here at GiB and that all choices have their consequences.
