NewEgg Ships Counterfeit (Demo) Intel i7 CPU's

Looks like someone made a big mistake.

As you are aware from discussions on the forums, we have been having server load issues over the past few days which has affected game performance and even game stability for some players. As part of reducing server load we asked all our server hosts to shut down the EA Public servers while we work at optimizing the server browser in game to handle the large amounts of servers. Also as part of this server load cut backs, we have requested that the server providers do not put up anymore clan/rented servers either. This decision was made to reduce the impact on you guys when you are in game from affects such as slow server browser refresh, inaccurate server information refreshing and some of the other issues you have been seeing.

The server hosts can still take your orders and answer your questions but until we have made changes to keep server load down they won't be able to fill your order and put up your servers.

So you all don't worry about whether this means you can't get into a server be assured, there is enough server capacity to allow everyone to get into a server and play. It might not be your favourite server or server provider but you can still get in there and get dogtags from someone new.
Thanks for your patience and we hope to allow the hosts to put up servers again for you all as soon as possible.

Donations and Bad Company 2 Release

Hello All, I've updated the donations total amount from $310 to $95. I will also be changing this when Bad Company 2 comes out. We will be launching BC2 server in Los Angles, which should be good for all the west coasters. And for the East coast if BC2 becomes popular, we will also provide one for them. If the funds line up. Project Reality Server Hotfix 2 released.

Just got a PM about the release of PR v0.909 Server Hotfix 2

This should hopefully fix issues with the previous hotfix and changing game modes. You do not require the previous hotfix installed, just follow the instructions in the included readme.txt.
PR v0.909 Server Hotfix
Just a small and quick notice for everyone. The PR Team has just released a small server hotfix to fix a few issues in v0.909. Only the server admins are required to do anything, the players have to do nothing, simply join servers with the hotfix applied .

Here's the changelog:
- Attempt to fix issues with people dying on spawn for having "wrong" kit selected.
- Attempt to make sure the black and white bleeding effect kicks in after being revived.
- Fixed some control points capture orders on a few maps.
- Updated spawn times for tanks on Vehicle Warfare mode to 5 minutes.
- Added ticket loss only from losing than control points on Vehicle Warfare mode.
- Only players inside vehicles can capture/neutralize control points on Vehicle Warfare mode.
- Only players with the crewman and pilot kits can capture/neutralize control points on Vehicle Warfare mode.
- Minimum of 6 players to capture/neutralize control points on Vehicle Warfare mode.
- Control points have 15s neutralize time and 15s capture time on Vehicle Warfare mode.
- Fixed Command and Control not limiting Forward Outposts to only one per team.
